As well as the dark arts of persuasive communication, I’m known for being on top of the tech that runs online businesses 24/7.
Something about having an English teacher for a mother, and a computer industry exec for a dad.
That, and being the world’s laziest workaholic, so I’ll do anything to avoid repetitive tasks, and that’s where the tech comes in handy. Money never sleeps, and software never gets bored.
The question I get asked most often is “what’s the best email tool for running automated campaigns?”
It’s a crappy question, as I’ll demonstrate.
According to Gartner, one of the biggest tech analysts, the top players are Adobe and Oracle. But these guys are aimed at Fortune 500 companies and will cost you a minimum 6 figures a year to run.
So what use is that information?
Not a lot.
Instead, most people asking the question want to know what the guys a step or two ahead of them are using.
Businesses made up of small teams, or maybe a single guy supported by some skilled freelancers. Businesses doing high 6, and maybe 7 figures without a bunch of stress.
For those guys I have a fairly consistent set of tools to get started with, and I pulled it together for new subscribers to this list yesterday.
Take a look…
